TETRAPI CREATIVE SOLUTIONS is a Research and Development Unit dedicated to the development of innovative Information and Communication Systems, operating in the regional, national and international market. Our portfolio includes a set of impactful and socially relevant projects, which demonstrate our technical skills with regards to the development and implementation of complex information systems.
We would like to highlight the PDL Minibus project, a local real-time passenger information system for the urban bus transport service of the city of Ponta Delgada, and internationally, the Salaam project, developed in cooperation with the Israel division of the UNHCR, which provides a mobile device application with a knowledge base of support information for over 40 thousand refugees settled in the region.
The Project
The POLAR project goal is to provide a self-service, large-scale, cloud-based, high performance computing environment for the management and processing of complex statistical models, to academic researchers and professional data analysts around the world, by developing a software system that abstracts the required resource management and configuration activities typically required. and also a frontend application that allows users to easily and intuitively manage the several model resources, such as datasets, imagens, source code and other associated items.
Once the model resources are supplied and configured, the user will be able to choose how soon he would like his model processed and results computed, which will translate into an automatic provisioning of the hardware and software infrastructure required for that computation, be it database servers, processing clusters or other cloud-based resources, and then presented with the associated estimated cost and computation tim
